Fall is just around the corner and it is time to start thinking about leaf removal equipment.  Depending on the size of your project you may only need a leaf rake and a hand blower if you have a minimal amount of trees.  If you have a large property with many trees, you may opt for a leaf vac system for your leaf removal needs.  There are several ways to tackle leaf clean up in the fall depending on the size of your project and the tools that you have at your disposal.  The most effective way to keep your lawn in check is to perform leaf removal every week when you mow your lawn.  If you bag your grass clippings and leaves when they begin to fall, it will be easier to keep up with the project.  If you have a thick layer of leaves on your lawn, it might be easier to mulch the leaves first then mow again and bag them the second time around.  The smaller the leaves are, the tighter they pack.  If you have a low horse power mower, your mower may not be able to lift the heavily mulched leaves.  If you are operating a commercial grade mower with 23 hp or above, your mower should tackle the project with no problem.
