Dwarf Procumbens Juniper

Dwarf Procumbens Juniper is a ground cover evergreen shrub.  This evergreen shrub spreads moderately fast.  The base of the plant shoots out cascading evergreen branches. Branches weep over the base of the plant and stretch out along the ground. This juniper will randomly spread throughout the landscape. Planting multiple Dwarf Procumbens plants can create a low lying evergreen hedge.  Dwarf Procumbens should be planted if you are trying to fill in the ground of your landscape.  This plant can cascade over retaining walls to give the walls a unique look.  Installing this evergreen is also an excellent way to fill in the bare areas between other shrubs in your landscape.

Pruning should be limited to removing any dead or damaged material. Pruning can also be done to keep the plant contained within its desired growing area. This plant does not tolerate salt well, so make sure that you install it where it will not be exposed to potential damage.
