Tor Birchleaf Spirea

Tor Birchleaf Spirea is a deciduous flowering shrub that produces white flowers.  This spirea can be planted as a stand alone plant or in rows to define a landscape.  Since Tor Birchleaf Spirea only grows to about 2 feet tall and wide, it makes a great compact plant for landscape installation.  The foliage of this spirea turns bright red, orange and purple in the fall.  Tor Birchleaf Spirea is a moderate growing plant.  This plant requires frequent watering during prolonged dry periods and extreme heat.

Details-  Tor Birchleaf Spirea produces bright white flowers in the spring.  This is a low maintenance shrub once it is established.  This compact shrub works well as a stand alone plant or it can be used in mass plantings.

Pruning-  Pruning should be done immediately after the plant is done flowering.  Pruning this plant at other times during the year is fine, but it may reduce future flowers.
