Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum ® is a deciduous flowering shrub. This plant produces bright white flower clusters all summer long. The leaves of this plant are glossy and have rigid edges that resemble a serrated knife. The flowers of this shrub contrast the plant very well and give it distinct eye appeal.
Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum ® display dark blue to purple berries. Though the berries of this plant are not edible, they definitely add to the eye appeal of this plant. The berry clumps on this viburnum make it stand out from other varieties. This variety of Viburnum is more compact than other Viburnum plants.
One of the best places to install a viburnum is on the corner of a foundation. Since the plant gets about six feet tall and wide, you will not want to install it where it can block windows. Another great application of this plant is forming a hedge. Installing a Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum ® every few feet will create a dense hedge. Once the plants are mature, they can then be pruned together to create a beautiful hedge.
